Addison Rae has been a celebrity on social media as a dancer and singer for many years. Her fame is based on her dance videos and lip-sync videos posted on the popular TikTok page called addisonre. Forbes magazine announced that Addison Rae earned the most money through TikTok during August of 2020. She's also among the top TikTok users. Addison Rae's fame on TikTok is extended into other platforms like Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. The first single she released, Obsessed, was released in 2021. When it was released it was ranked 4th on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart. Addison Rae has also received nominations in prestigious events like the People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as Kids Choice Awards.
