Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to earn 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won the vault and floor exercise at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete just two years later. What set Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
