Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, as well as filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun has been a Journalist, Sportscaster and Producer and Actor since she was born in Santa Clara County California on the 19th of October. She earned her degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun was a pro surfer who took part in many pro-am surf competitions. This led her to receive sponsorship from major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, and others. It was the recognition she gained through the events she took part in that led her into the realm of entertainment. In 2014 Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute. Sun was the very first Asian American to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has appeared in a variety of films and has received not only praise but also fame for her acting skills. Sun has been in a variety of films, including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun's feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She composed, directed, and produced it herself.
