Angela Sun
Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, at Santa Clara County California. She is a prestigious journalist and sportscaster as well as an actress. She received a Bachelor's Degree in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. She was sponsored by major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The attention she received from this acted like a slingshot that launched her into the entertainment business. She, later on went to become an actress, sportscaster investigative journalist and film director. Sun has been employed by a variety of news networks, mostly as anchor. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter from 2003. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman & Jonny Moseley. In 2014, Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute. Sun is the only Asian American who has ever appeared in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films and her abilities in acting are lauded and acknowledged. Sun was in films such as Goliath (2016) and The Floor (2014-2016), Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) as well as Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch a feature-length documentary about marine pollution caused by plastic and the impact it has on the natural environment. She wrote and directed and produced herself.
