Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three siblings. The couple divorced after she turned 17. The bankruptcy of their company caused more financial problems. Her financial troubles were made more difficult by her anorexia and bipolar disorder. Arch Enemy is a band which deserves to be praised.
